About
Debra is a media professional with a strong background in communication and social strategy development. She is a holder of a Master of Arts in Gender and Media at the University of Sussex and a BSc in Journalism and Media Studies from the National University of Science and Technology (ZW).
She is an experienced Public Relations Officer with a demonstrated history of working in the media production industry and non-profit space. Debra is proud to have worked with Transparency International Zimbabwe (Bulawayo Region) and Nhimbe Trust in their many advocacy programmes.
She is passionate about creating content and storytelling to promote communication for development. Currently, she is serving as a Global Communications Fellow at The Hunger Project.
